Newest Dreamland park in the area. It's situated in a flood plain, and as a result the place has to be able to drain fish...Red decided to make a bowl with a 7 foot hole in it.
I'd seen photos before I got there, and thought that it wouldn't be a big deal. When I arrived, I sat there for 30 minutes, all padded up. Just looking at the hole. It was totally messing with my mind.
I finally just focused on the coping, and went for it.
After a couple of runs over, it wasn't too bad. Not too hard really.
My over all feel for the park. Well, first off, I have to admit, I'm spoiled. I'm spoiled by all the smooth concrete that Grindline and Dreamland have been laying down here in the NW (not aplogizing for that either). And my feeling was that the 7 foot trannies were a bit tight for me. If I was riding a real pool, then cool, I expect tight trannies. I didn't really expect it with a park of this size. Even the vert wall has 7 foot trannies (3 feet of vert?).

Nice Hughes.
Still haven't skated it yet. I hear it's a real doozy....but more mental than anything. How's the X-gaymes section by the way...? |

Dreamland smooth like usual, but a real crash up center if busy.
There were some guys there from portland, I think. And they were killing it. Made it look fun. |
