I appreciate all your inputs. Bainbridge has skewed my perception of the parks I will return to. ALthough, there is a sick park being built in Los Osos CA now, anyone know whats going on there? we who skate the parks on the CA central coast are patiently waiting for Los Osos....... where can I buy a fucking landyachtz up here (Tacoma/University Place)??

You're in Tacoma? Go to either Northwest Snowboard, lots of good skateboards there.
Or head north a half hour to Gravity Sports in Renton. I know they have two or three of those big boards. http://www.gravitysports.com/

Hey Darren (Meteor Man), I checked out Los Osos over the weekend. Looks like they're about ready to pour the trannys. I'm guessing early August. Should give my knees time to get better. Getting old sucks, but it sounds like you're having a good trip.

LANCE- what did you do to your knees man? You take spill in grover? I can't wait to get back to the crew on the CC. I'm gonna try to bring home this NWS blank I saw that had the coolest shape, like my Olson but a rounded nose instead of pointed. We are going to run some hills when I get back, ARBORS BABY, ARBORS. Oh yeah, I went to solvang too (think I told you) the bowls there you would love. Till then I will be thinking of Osos.

Well, my left knee is sore from that kneeslide way back at Greenfield where I went straight to my knees in the flat. I think I've aggrevated it every time since then. It feels sort of like tendonitis. I tweaked My right knee at the Etnies Skull Bowlthink I strained my MCL a little. They're both feeling better, but I'm taking July off, so that I'm healthy for Los Osos. I may be up for the Arbors though, a little bit of mellow lunchtime carving is always good.

Did my right knee like that at Milton, WA (Strait to flat, wham!). Took over a year before I could comfortably knee slide again.

huges, where exactly is the gravity shop in renton? Im into landyachtz but I think I am really just into a drop through board. I have a curve swift 40 and love it but looking for something a wee bit more streamlined, that I can easily slide of course. Didnt make it to Milton, University place tomorrow AM and then hopefully checking out the gravity shop before I fly back tomorrow. Driving my wife crazy. I LOVE IT!!~ MM A>K>A D.Lee

Milton > U.P.

Do yourself a favor and check the rollercoaster ride. If time is a problem i'd pick Sumner over U.P. it's a little easier to get to off the freeway.

Address for Gravity 126 Rainier Ave S Renton, WA 98055-2044

Basically, you take 405 north,
exit north onto Rainer Av
follow Rainer until you see Gravity sports on right at 126 Rainer.

They open at 11am I think. 425-255-1874
Tell them Dan sent you.

It's a fun little shop, lots of old decks on the ceiling, good variety usually.
