Anyone else try this yet? I know diet sodas are usually reserved for secretaries, but thought i'd give this a shot - its not half bad, and the aftertaste is pretty slim to none - tastes best in a glass w/ice. Thumbs up.

witness: Diabetic since 1983

I've been drinking diet Coke since 1983 and love it to death, It's either diet Coke during the day or alcohol the rest of the time.

But I think it's just what you are used too.
Give me Splenda Diet Coke for a few month and I'll probably trade you my Hornblower for a bottle of it!

artificial sweetener frightens me. I won't go near the splenda stuff no matter how good people say it is.

Maltitol, laxitol or whatever it is is baby laxatives in the Europe. they use it in a lot of artificial sweetners. So if anything says Sugar Alcohols in the nutrition facts, dont eat/drink too much or youll have the shits all day/night. i stay away from diet sodas. id rather not drink soda at all than get a splitting headache from the artificial stuff.

I've been on the diet coke since I was inducted into the diabetes club 12 yrs ago. I never really liked it but what choice was there? The new diet coke actually tastes alot more like real coke to me. I'm stoked theres no after taste.

On the laxative note: Almost all the candies I can eat are all more laxative than candy. Keeps me regular or well... my bowels anyway
