Mayo = egg, oil, lemon juice, and vinegar. Using top-shelf ingredients isn't going to change the basic nature of mayo. Variations using different ingredients are a different thing. Like mango salsa isn't really salsa.
Now, if you make vanilla ice cream that uses real Tahitian (or to a lesser degree, Madagascar) vanilla beans, organic cream, sea salt, and ice made from purified water, that's really something totally different than the vanilla ice cream you're going to get at McDonald's or wherever.
I'm hoping you chose mayo. 'Cause you didn't know donuts were fried. |

I was under the impression that Neapolitan was 1/3 vanilla, 1/3 chocolate, and 1/3 strawberry.
Fucking vanilla-assed vanilla fucking ice cream. Nothing gourmet, nothing fancy. The cheapest shit in the dairy case that you buy in a shoebox that already has the beginning tendrils of freezerburn coursing throughout the container.
