Either standing 10 feet away from Black Sabbath during the intro to "War Pigs" at Alpine Valley, Wisconsin in '97 (fucking GODS!), or, offering The Mooney Suzuki $20 to stop playing. They sucked.
Both stand out...

It's a toss up, but both were at the Cornerstone Music festival. The Dingees in 1999, I almost broke my nose, and The Huntingtons in 1999 and 2001.. i got pulled up on stage in 01, but the 99 was my first experience!

There was a huge sk8 jam/demo on the street in front of the club before this show. Across the street from the club was an abandoned hotel with a drained pool (St. Moritz Pool). When JFA played the Charlie Brown song some pros from the demo were skating in the pit. The only thing I remember about Skatemaster Tate was that his DJ had his turntables on huge Jolt Cola cans. Take me back to Le Cumbre I want another steak burrito...
These will take you back...

You should come up over the border to Victoria for a visit. Lots of good bands and free skateparks. Your money is almost worth double up here too! |

@lilsheeda - nay, I am not musically talented.
SLF is one of my all time favs
My wife would love it if I would take the Decendents CD out of my car...not that she hates them(it's her CD) but it's been in there for a few months. I get stuck in music ruts. |
