sorry, I missed this thread.
My thoughts are...garbage. Very brittle. They chip left and right. Sometimes they come in 6ply....sometimes they dont come at all.
I'm not much of a shit talker, but I'll call it when I see it so nobody will step in it.
We have been riding the left over boards that I refused to sell because I was so upset with the quality. Not even hard session, mini ramp, flat ground, 2ft ledge.....all 3 of our boards have chips missing and they were just setup like a week ago.
Sure they're good people but they fuck up alot. |

Word. I have so much shit to talk about them, they fucked me over. I have a couple runs from them I don't want to sell people for many reasons.
They fucked me over pretty good. Have fun with your decks. |

perhaps I spoke prematurely. Let me re-phrase
I just received my decks from mimic, and I am very pleased with the quality of the graphics. These decks were made for visual enjoyment (not something most of you agree with I'm sure).
Hustle Daddy is this totally bogus band that I am in (see my website link) and these decks were made because many of the members used to skate in their younger years and some collect decks, and I thought this would be a fun project for me.
So as for actual deck quality (which I agree should be most important) I haven't had a chance to test that yet, but the graphics were exactly what I was hoping for.
Sorry if my jumping the gun upset anyone, and I hope this thread doesn't hurt my standings here.

Stoney, I'm sorry you had similar problems. I got two decks with 6 plys, I got 8 7/8 instead of the 9's I asked for. When I told them about it I had to wait like a month to get the new ones shipped to the forum members who ordered them. I think they didnt have a 9.0 template and tried to slip some 8 7/8's in. They told me they would send each person two boards for taking such a long time...only sent one. My frist order of 10 decks had air bubbles in two of them....?quality control? I got a few misprints which pisses me off. They print on flat veneer, would it cost you that much to print anoter one?

is there another company that will do the custome graphics thing?
they e-mailed me so I gave them a try. if there is somewhere else with more options let me know. I'm always looking for new places to shop |
