So, I have a shitload of longboards, but lately, the one that's the most fun to ride is an old G&S Hula Girl that I retrofit with Ed Economy-style wheel cuts.
It's actually my daughter's board.
I used to have Randals on it, but I swapped them for Tracker Aggros and the thinnest riser I had. It sits even lower than my Landyachtz Drop Carve.
No wheel bite, unless it's your shoe hitting the back wheel in a deep carve.
This thing bombs great and slides like crazy, there's no feeling that it's going to "high-side" when it's really cranked over.
I went bombing hills with some bros the other night, and we had a "tow vehicle" to lift us back to the top -- a Honda 70 dirtbike with a length of climbing rope attached. The sesh was like snowboarding the asphalt. |

That's pretty damn cool, actually. I liked the Economy shape but it was too heavy, so that looks like a mini Econ!
I love to carve really deep, and that setup looks like it could...Have you ever tried Baku trucks? They sit higher (no risers needed) and aren't meant to go fast but they feel great in deep carves...
Nice remodel! |

Never tried BAKU's. I'm really more into traditional trucks lately, and I like the lowrider feel. That board works great, but it's not much of a deep carver -- but it turns well, if you flex it into a turn.
This one, on the other hand, is ALL CARVE (it's twitchy-turny):
