Been waiting for going on 3 weeks for this board to arrive. And does this
baby fly. My son couldn`t keep up with me on his bike when I took it out
for a test spin.

It came with Gravity Super G 73mm 85a black wheels but I decided to put
a set I just bought from mile high with Rockin Rons Rockets inside kryptonic
hawaiian 70mm 78a. What a differense they made.

Nice rig, Jim. Now please make sure you replace those kingpins with some grade-8's...

I believe the Grind King king pin set I bought from you are Grade 8. Aren`t
they? Was reading on the bomberonline forums that one of the guys there
uses them on them on his randals, that s why I bought them.

Anyways, let me know when when you get more rockets in. I might
need a few other parts to.

The GK's are too short at 2" for them to make your R-II's all turny and stuff. Get some 2.75" kingpins, and put in double Khiro barrel bushings and new bushing washers.

Mark, not a slam, but I'm surprised you let the Randals escape without at least a kingpin upgrade.

I didn`t get board set up from Mark, so its not his fault. This was a
Streetboardz.com setup. Took forever to get it. Never gonna deal
with again.

Guess I`ll be looking for the longer kingpins then, I do have a setup of
grindking trucks they`ll work on anyways.

I no longer sell Randals. Too many problems, and too little support from the manufacturer.

And yes, those GK's will be way too short. The stock Randal kingpin is 2.5" long.

Ah, that 'splains it, then. I know that Mark just started carrying longboard completes, so I just assumed that you got the board from him, along with the Rockets you mentioned.

Okay, so here's your shopping list:

2 of these: http://www.milehighskates.com/catalog...p;products_id=467

4 of these: http://www.milehighskates.com/catalog...p;products_id=267

And I would recommend the Khiro barrel bushings all around (4 total) to get your turn on.

If you don't have bearing spacers and speed rings, get on that, too.

Now you can see why I'm not stocking completes...

And I'm waiting on Ron to fill our back order of Rockets.

Yeah, I like to build my own. Funny, I keep a stock of grade 8 bolts
just like the ones you stock. I need to use them on the tractor I work on.
I`ll just have to check lengths and thread sizes to see if there a match.

The Khiro bushings I already have, bought a box of them from Mark.
Great bushings, I love the blue ones on my freestyle board.

Just swapped out my kingpins with grade 8 - 2.5" bolts and found that the
randal 180 front truck had a stripped nylock nut on it. I wondered why I
could not tighten it. Had to go and buy a couple new 3/8" nylocks for them.
I also changed out the randal bushings with my khiro`s and what a difference
they have made. This Sector 9 board has great flex for my weight at 175lb.
and it handles fantastic now that I have been able adjust the trucks properly.
Thanks for the advice guys.
