Does anyone here have the Powell nordic sperm Street/frestyle deck? Was this deck made for freestyle or street, or both?
Anyone know what the concave is likve ont he deck? or if it's a double kick tail?

It is pretty flat, and the nose is a touch smaller than the tail. It is a hybrid both freestyle/street deck, and its only about 29" long. It looks like a blast to skate, but i just don't have the heart to skate mine.

I was considering picking one up, but if the concave is fairly flat, then it wouldn't be much use to me.. I can't really see it being used for vert:)

Ha! Ha! At last a question I can answer!!
It's one of the best boards I have skated!! For street anyway!! I still have mine set up from the good old days and I still love to take it out every now and then!! Solid board, managed to take alot, and I mean alot of punishment, including hand rails and stuff!! Mellow concave, very nice!! Double kick/hybrid of sorts, nice and flippy deck!! Neat graphics too, though on mine, you can't really see them anymore!! And you know what the best thing about this board is Bro??....I'll tell you...It's still a cheap board!! Loads of websites and shit still got 'em, so get one and shred it, man!! I been meaning to get a mint one for display...but, ho-hum! Never get round to it...anyway...Just BUY one!! You won't be disappointed!!

Peace

AWH in Chicago still has these decks listed on their site:

http://awhsales.com/

Click on oldschool decks and then Powell..

Have your local dealer order one for you..

I tihnk they overproduced them, either that or the demand ran out.

When you say mellow concave, what do you mean by that? Is it still good for skating street?

As for oldschoolskates.com , $89.99 ?? On eBay they've been going for half that. Maybe Ozzie should have a sale:)

Old skate stuff going cheaply on Ebay?! No way!! Ha! Ha! Buried treasure that Welinder!! What I mean by mellow concave is that it's quite a flat board. It's perfect for street in my opinion anyway, thats what I used it for mainly anyway. Go out and Get one!!

Peace
