i'm with pennswood a hundred percent. they are awsome when it comes to all aspects of production. seriously. if you want, drop the money for samples from the different companies and pick the wood that seems best to fit your needs. a little extra for shipping is worth it if you get good wood. don't compromise- no one wants a crappy deck. |

Prime in California. They did Dwindle's boards before Dwindle went overseas.
Chapman in New York.
California Skate Factory, aka Clearwood.
Taylor-Dykema. I don't know their website or contact info. |

I have used SouthCentral for sometime now. Been looking around on most of the other manufacturers and alwaysed returned to south central. Found them having the best price, can do small quantitys mix shape and sizes and no hidden costs or setup fees etc...
I did call Prime today and it sounded very good until that setup fee came along and it ended up that there board costed $2-3 more. |

CSF - Same deal as ABC these fuckos wont respond and hit a brutha off with some prices
I can't speak for CSF but you are mistaken about ABC.
What you are dealing with is you are asking for this stuff at the bussiest time of their year. Right now everyone has just gotten fully loaded with veneer and they are at full production. I work with ABC's help, they are the fastest delivery, highest quality product available. These two companies quite are both fully booked with orders. ABC is super selective about their O.E.M. Jim usually knows everyone he deals with on a first name basis. As for CSF dude, they are making 1000's of decks a day for the biggest names and just won't take on O.E.M. from small companies...they don't need it. Taylor Dykema....same deal. |

He ain't kidding. ABC's wood has improved radically in the last year -- I just reshaped a pool deck for a bro (common thing here) and it was like shaping rock! Never worked with maple that dense! Nice concave too.
Yup, they're swamped this time of year -- very possible your e-mail was accidently missed. |
