Well, for not having skated in 11-1/2 months, it rides nice.

I'm really impressed with those wheels. Not as fast as PSF's, Shitbird's, IPS's, or SPF's, but still quick, with a very smooth ride. And for the price, you can't go wrong.

The deck feels similar to my old Afroman Numbchuck, at least from what I can remember. The Seismics are just what I remembered: stable AND turny. It's definitely a fun ride. Maybe not everyone's cup-o'-tea, but if you like long wood, you could do worse.

Now all I have to do is "turn off" my brain and let my body take care of everything when I'm skating.

It was great. Skated with some folks I hadn't seen in a while, and got to enjoy some nice weather, too.

Random comments on the above setup:

Deck rides nice. Wheel well placement is a bit off. Tail could be longer. Might re-drill it, but we'll see.

Seismics are Seismics. Turny, stable, and everything I remember.

I'm liking the Foundation wheels. Quick, smooth, and grippy. Bargain, for sure.

Boulder and Louisville skateparks. The board rides great at Boulder, but is a wee bit long for L'ville. Might build up an SMA red shield for that place.
