no, it is like his first or second world board- came out about the same time as the barnyard, and is dated 1989. maybe lotfortynine can date it accurately.

the aos link to it, and that is my deck. it has never been gripped or skated, but it was (and i know this is a hot topic right now) clear-coated when i found it. some sort of shallac-type on it. i'm still stoked on it. i've only seen one other around. any thoughts?

I've got a mint one. Unshellaced. Though I don't mind the shellac. I actually think it makes the boards look nicer. My original Gonz has it. |

I've got a mint Mike Smith Liberty (the one with the male/female symbols) from that same catalog. No clear coat though... Damnit! |

I had that board when I was younger...skated it until the tail was a stump. It was one of the first SMA boards when Rocco took over, and it was Vallely's first board on SMA as I recall...before the barnyard. |
