Cody, thanks for the offer.
I am not sure but I am guessing you are a new member. I like to see people offering help...it is appriciated.
I have the bent screens going, with the help of mastercraftsman Joe McDonald.
These screens are for a "tilt screen" setup.
The pics I post this week will show alot more.
Unfortunately I have not completed the concaved screen setup.
It has proven to be more complicated than I first thought.
I got the design for this tilt screen setup and had to give it a try.
Don't get me wrong I still plan on doing the concaved screens!
As for cost...lets just say they were quite affordable compared to the bent screens.

Thats where I got lost skinny.
I was thinking this was for the curved screen setup you were making.
Still I cant wait to see your tilt setup. Whats your mesh count and what ink will you be using.
I think I'm gonna go for 255 with my 2700. Shit ran like chocolate syrup all over my 156 and dried in some spots. I need some virgin tight mesh. |

Dave I am sorry I pointed you twards the 156, I got it confused with the t-shirt screens I was having made at the time.
If you read the msds info on nazdar2700 and the info from them they say 180-230 mesh.
I tried 230 and it sucked.
I had these stretched with 175 mono and at 0-5 newtons.
They are nice and loose and conform to the concave great!
You might ask why the hell 175?
I have found that the 2700 leaves a nice thick print when you use it on lower mesh counts.
The thinner makes it bleed bad sometimes, but I figured out some of the mix ratios and I have a solid method now.
The main reason is I don't require a pressure washer to clean them.
I will show some of the test prints too I hope soon. |
