i bought a deck off my friend long ago that was a your pro model when acme first came out, i loved that deck.
so am i the only fan of acme? |

i was a fan..i had a slick with a monkey and it said 100 percent acme....fun deck,,,havent seen any in AWHILE

One of my first decks was an ACME. I got it used from a neighbor. I think it might have been that monkey one. Id have to see it to be sure. |

i think they were kinda bo-bo though right? it was a nice deck,,,but then again so were channel ones at that age..i remember getting it for Xmas

the acme was the last board i had. someone stole it and i had no way to get another at the time board and thats what made me stop skating...only took me over a decade to get back into it.
and i wish i could find some A-1 meats wheels...oh well.
i had contacted jim gray about making it again, he alluded to wanting do some "old school" shaped decks but that was over a year ago and nohting has changed...nice guy, just busy as hell and as a result, somewhat forgetful. |

I LOVE Acme decks. The "Sign-your-own pro model" was one of my favorites! I rode several Acme decks. Now, I collect quite a few, though I have never seen a Sign-your-own deck anywhere again. It is one of my grails....like a brown stained Howell "Pyramid" (similar shape too).
