Powell Rib bones on all of my set-ups except my street deck. I have always loved the way rib bones feel/function. If it wasn't rib-bones, I would probably go for the Santa Cruz Rails. They seem pretty sweet also.

I use some on my Shut Shark and Gonz reissue. I know the Shut has old powell rails mounted with the sex bolts(?) the gonz's rails I don't know what brand.

I really want to try some of those long crooks ones for my next 36-40 inch deck.

I just through them on strait.

I use the Crooks too. The OG's even come with sex bolts. I have the slims on my deck now and they're perfect. They make them in longboard sizes too. www.crooksusa.com

I like to shape them to the board as long as it's not too radical of a bend. A good way I found to do it is to set the first screw in place (loosley). Get a peice of paper and mark the distance from the rail to the edge of the deck. Then you'll know where to set the 2nd screw...and so on. This way the rail will follow the exact line of the deck. (I sound like a complete kook right now, Ha)

You know, I think it's fine to hit the rails every now and again as long as it doesn't become a problem... You know, at like a party or something.

Seriously though,
I've got a set of SC Cell Block rails right now that work just fine.

Whatever you do, do not use the new black label rails. They are potentailly the worst product & rip off I've ever seen in rails..

Big Uglies are good, so are the powell rib bones.. Walker chopsticks are also good if you can find em.
