Well, it's getting on towards Halloween, so I figured I'd start a thread on the third major food group. Apples with razor blades, LSD caramels, and candy.

What are your favorites?

What do you hate?

My favorites:

Chunky bars
Whatchamacallit bars
Snickers Crunchy bars
Snickers bites (frozen, of course)
Anything Godiva makes
Ferro-Roche little gold ball thingys
Chewy Sweet Tarts
Laffy Taffy
Airheads (particularly the Cherry, although the only one I really don't like is White Mystery)
Cherry Nibs
Any black licorice
Good 'n Plenty
Tootsie Rolls
Circus Peanuts

I can't think of much that I really dislike off the top of my head, although Mounds and Almond Joy come close. It's too bad that I don't like Almond Joy very much though, because that would be funny.

I have been having an ongoing debate with THM regarding the taste of Circus Peanuts for years now, and I'd like to get some unbiased opinions on what they taste like to you. I'll share our two contrasting opinions later.

Snickers
Hershey's with Almonds
Baby Ruth
Mars Bars

Anything with chocolate, nuts, and nuget or caramel. Hah, nuget, I love that word.

This brings to mind and invention of mine: Poor man's frozen banana. Alternate bites between a banana and a Snickers. You will not regret it.

Oh yeah, Nutella for chocolaty, nutty, delicious spread. Insane on fresh French bread and also good for Poor man's frozen bananas.

Reese's Peanut Butter Cups
Charleston Chew(not frozen, vanilla)
Butter Fingers
Heath Bars
Candy Corn
Peeps
Chocolate covered Marshmellow Santas, Bunnies, whatever.
Peanut M&Ms
Rocky Mountain Chocolate "English Toffee covered in chocolate and nuts"
Hershey's Syrup Boobies

I think that's it.

I forgot Peeps (frozen) and peanut M&Ms too.

I also forgot that I hate Butterfingers and Baby Ruths.

Any input on what Circus Peanuts taste like to you?

frozen peeps huh?

i've been a pretty staunch anti-peep's advoate my whole life...after reading about freezing them, i may have to re-think my stance

as far as butterfingers go, i've never had one so i dont know what they taste like (long story)

baby ruths are good..too bad they look like a bung-log

i have a like-hate thing going on with the circus peanuts...hate them fresh, but like them stale...

anybody got a 'hookup' that can get me an everlasting gobstopper?

Basically any British candy bar (our neighbors are from Scotland, and there's a couple of stores that sell 'em locally)
$100,000 bars
Whatchamacallit bars
Reeses Sticks (or whatever they're called)
