I was just thinking about how people say they want a deck that is on ebay and then tell people to lay off bidding.

what if the seller is a member here and that other members lay off bidding to respect the wanters request?

doesn`t it sort of fuck it up, some what, for the seller?

sure, maybe there are other non S&B members who will bid, but if S&B members respect the member who wants the item....

tricky situation.

I want the natas krooked guest deck currently up for auction, back off.

Not really. As a seller you can put a reserve on the board to insure it sells for a minimum amount.

When people request others to back off, it's more guided towards those inclined to buy a deck as a trader or a second board. If someone else (from this board or elsewhere) really wants a deck, then noone should have any hard feelings about anyone bidding. Ebay is an auction afterall. Most request are really letting people know that the requestor is prepared to go large on a certain board, so if others want it, they need to be prepared to go large as well, or not unneccasarily bid up the price.

I've done that myself. It does suck when they don't even bid.

i'm tempted to give people a heads up on a deck on ebay right now that i really want because i don't have a whole lot of money to spend, but i want the deck rather badly, however i'm not sure how well it would work out. blah.
