Just being critical. I guess it says this is a collector's forum first, but why is there so much crap before you get to the actual skateboarding forums? I'm confused.

What is the full story on the South LSD park? I spoke with Johnny Dread about it once, but I never figured out how it became such a mess. I used to live in Burr Ridge (I-55 and 294). It sounded like the community did all they could do, but the city did otherwise. Where did it fall apart? I don't think I've ever seen so much sketchy concrete in all my life. I realize the Wilson park is very nice, but was that one put in because south LSD was so bad, or are you guys just lucky enough to have 2 parks in such prime real estate? I always looked for other parks in the suburbs too. I used to skate Countryside (nice little neighborhood park) and Glenn Ellen (best mini I found). I heard there was a nice park up north, but never went there. That would be the public park not the pay park. Though I heard good things about the pay park too. Anyway, am I way off on the LSD parks, and are there any other really nice parks in Chicagoland? |
