I'm from So Cal so I say In-N-0ut (although my crazy best friend says Fatburger...clearly he's on crack).
I hear White Castle is really good on the east coast. I gotta try that place someday. |

Fuddrucker's. Against my will, my wife got me to try the Ostrich meat burger. That shit is good!! What is it with birds that can't fly? Why do they taste so good? ...I wonder what penguin tastes like. |

i'd say either myself, or for some creepy reason, denny's bacon cheeseburgers are usually better than the local diners. However, i'm rather partial to the food at the Pumphouse Grill in St. Joseph, Michigan |

It was said that Moodys in Chicago had the best burgers in town but I prefered Muskys. |

Champaign, IL--Murphy's (double bacon mega) or The Esquire.
Bloomington, IL--They're all the same here.
Chapel Hill, NC--Hector's. Double bacon chili cheese with slaw.
Franchises--Wendy's Jr. bacon cheeseburger and Culver's are my leading candidates. |

The best spots in Calgary are, oddly enough, legendary Skate/Punk hangouts.
Ship & Anchor Pub; Ship Burger (served by hotty naughty punk princesses on the patio).
CB's Drive In; Master Burger (served by the very entertaining samuri fry guy) --the fries at this place are to die for. |
