I found that using a shitload and billfold of cherry or grape tomatoes results in a much better sauce - that and a shitload of capers and peppercini juice...slow in the clay pot. |

This one is easy & the only cooking you do is the pasta!
Boil up some angel hair. Drain & rinse.
Toss with balsamic vinegar, olive oil, crumbled feta cheese, halved cherry tomatoes& some chiffonade of basil.
Consume. |

Spinach linguini for the noodles.
Sauce made of 1/4 cup olive oil sauteed with garlic, oregano, parsley, parmesan, and the secret weapon: ROASTED PINENUTS. All to taste.
This shit slides right down your gullet and doesn't give you a red-sauce hangover.
Serve with a cheap chianti -- you WILL get laid gauranteed... |

Ok, here is my favorite one I have come up with.
Tuna steaks ( 1/3 lb per serving)
Choice of pasta, penne works good I think
Pesto
Parmesan or reggiano (or both better yet)
Green olives of choice
Capers
Garlic
Red onion
Fresh roma tomatoes
Olive oil
Salt and fresh ground pepper
Artichoke hearts
Chopped cilantro (fresh)
Heat the oil, add the onions and garlic (diced and minced) and saut quickly
Add tuna steaks, cut into little squares, sear both sides till only lightly pink in the middle.
Add pesto, artichoke hearts, diced olives, a little bit of capers. Stir it up
Add the cooked pasta, cheese, salt to taste and pepper to taste (needs to be fresh and coarse ground for best effect) stir it up. Remove from heat and add a little more cheese, tomatoes (diced) cilantro and stir while still hot (these last ingredients will get too mushy if cooked) serve it to friends or hog to self, threatening any transgressors with your pasta whisk. |
