I don't care what you call them...I love 'em all. What's your favorite?

Hungry Bear Sub Shop:
Steak w/ x-tra grilled onions, Provolone cheese, mayo, salt, pepper & hot sauce... on a wheat roll.

Cold: Jimmy John's. I'm partial to the Italian Night Club or the Billy Club, with the occasional Gargantuan.

Warm: Quizno's. Large Traditional with no olives.

No real "mom and pop" sub shops around here.

Subway is un-American. Fuck those fuckers.

That's right...Gravy AND Mayonnaise!!!

Sounds tasty. I am a firm proponent of mayo.

I figured that I should have described what is in my favorite JJ's subs for those of you who do not have them in your area.

Italian Night Club: Genoa salami, capicola, ham, provolone, lettuce, Roma tomatos, onions, mayo, Italian seasoning, vinaigrette.

Billy Club: Roast beef, ham, provolone, mayo, Grey Poupon, lettuce, Roma tomatos.

Both are available on 7 grain whole wheat or French.

Mayonnaise is the greatest.

franchise brand: Quizno's beats them all! (and I dig the singing creatures)..I like the smoked turkey with that crazy(and highly addictive) orange sauce

local brand: Patera's in Pelham, AL....mmmm mmmm good!

WORST sub shop: Firehouse Subs......I ordered a turkey sub which on the deli board lists NO toppings other than turkey, lettuce and tomato....what I got was pretty much a jar of mayonaise on bread...I took one bite and threw it in the trash. The little counter girl goes "Is something wrong?" I said "Yeh....I didn't know I ordered a jar of mayonaise". She shrugged her shoulders and robotically replied "Have a nice day.". Arggg! I will never step foot in one again.

For the Zodiac/GM debate.....why not try Mayostard or Mustanaise? (*Zodiac should pick up the reference)

They have such a product. It's called Dijonnaise. I forget who makes it, but I'm guessing French's, if not more companies.

French's also makes a very tangy and tasty product called Wasabi Horseradish GourMayo.

Mayomustardayonaise!
"Are you tired of being a slave to a TWO JAR SYSTEM?!"
"Goodbye dad, I'm dying." (Dad shrugs as if to say "what can I do?")
"Warning, Mayonaise will expire before mustard."

Quiznos is good for a chain.

Thundercloud and Texadelphia in AusTex make good sammitches

Locally...
DeVinche's kills all. It's a local joint run by a Phillipino family, not that that matters in the least. OMG. Heaven in a bun. Steak Hoagie with jalapenos.
