S&B Iron Chef Challenge: Best Sandwich recipes?

Ok....since we have some fairly creative gourmets here...I was curious, what is your FAVORITE "recipe" for a sandwich? I am talking a basic sandwich here.....standard fair....no cooking required aside from the possible use of a grill....let's see who has the best one!

-bread (pita, wrap, roll, hoagie, etc)
-cheese(s)
-meat(s)
-condiment(s)
-veggies
-other ingredient(s)

First you dip your bread in whipped egg with a touch of salt and pepper and slap it down in a buttered fry pan --cook it longer than french toast, you want that mutha crunchy.

Plate it up, spread crunchy peanut butter on both slabs and add a solid layer of banana.

Eat it!

ultra club:

- soft sandwich roll (white)
- spicy mustard on bottom bread
- Hellmans mayo on top bread
- sliced turkey
- sliced ham
- bacon
- sliced tomato
- sheredded lettuce
- dill pickle slices

...add some roast beef if you're really crazy.

go for it...

I think that bread is a pretty subjective thing, so for all of these sandwiches, put them on whatever bread you think would go best with the guts, unless otherwise specified...

Take two slices of bread. Sourdough or white Pepperidge Farm Sandwich bread is what I'd recommend, but suit yourself. Put Philly cream cheese on one, and Hellman's mayo on the other. Pile thinly sliced smoked ham atop the cream cheese. Pile thinly sliced turkey atop the mayo. Squirt yellow mustard onto the ham. Put a good white cheese (I prefer swiss or provolone) atop the turkey. Add lettuce if desired. Merge the two halves. Cut along the diagonal. Eat. Poop. Repeat.

Any bread works for this, but I prefer either Pepperidge Farm white sandwich, or else rye or pumpernickle. Take the heel, and spread OM liversausage (also called braunschweiger) onto it. If you're making two of these, use the piece that's the next closest to the heel also for the liversausage. It's thick and difficult to spread, and when at refrigerator temperature, it will rip holes in lesser breads rather than spreading, so use the heel to spread the liversausage. Normally, I like my bread slices in each sandwich to have been next door neighbors, but with liversausage, I make a practical exception. Anyway, put Welch's grape jelly on the other piece of bread. Merge the two halves. This can also be served open-faced, and you may also toast the bread before adding the stuff. I generally do not cut this sandwich (unless I forget and cut it out of habit) because the less exposed edge I have, the less likely I am to spill jelly on myself.

Peanut butter (I prefer Jif Extra Crunchy), lettuce, and mayo. I like it on white bread.

Mix up a heaping shitload of Hellman's mayo with a can of tuna (drained) in a medium-sized mixing bowl. Do not add celery. Celery has no business here. Take a hamburger bun, and pile the tuna "salad" onto both sides of the bun. Top each pile with a thick slice of Velveeta. Toast. Consume.

Wonder bread (or other cheap ass white stuff)
Marshmallow Fluff
Smooth Skippy PB

Cut in to triangles (diagonal both ways), arrange on plate to form
two butterfly shapes - i.e. : >< ><

Ruffles (OG formula) and a real Coke.

Ease out of the kitchen in to the den, plop down in front of the TV and watch Univision on MUTE while listening to music of your choice (even though you can't understand what they are saying, the chicks are hot...).

how dare you disrespect my beloved peanut butter with mayo and lettuce!

just playin around, odd combo though.

I'll stick with the recipe I got from a wonderful book entitled "Yukon Ho!" by Bill Watterson

I can't remember it exactly, but i think it was peanut butter, marshmallows and chocolate syrup. even if it isn't this way in the book (i haven't read that one in a few months) it's pretty damn good.
