I used to manage the best subshop in Miami, Hungry Bear. We had this special secret hot sauce we made in house. To this day the thought of it makes my mouth water. It was just 1 gallon of Crystal Hot Sauce (Louisiana Hot Sauce) and one gallon of Mt. Olive Pickle Relish. It's great for sandwiches & salads but dosen't really go with everything because of all the vinegar in the relish. |

Like any self-respecting Los Angelino, I am a loyal Tapatio fan.
I do like Siracha though.
Mix even amounts of Siracha and soy sauce and you have a steak sauce from heaven. |

I was just at one of the few cool local Mexican establishments... they had a new hot sauce. Green shit. I think I stopped breathing for a minute. Yummy! |

Crystal for everyday use.
Pickapeppa is very good on barbecue.
Fuck Tabasco.
There used to be a little dive taco/tamale place here in Birmingham called Mancha's that made their own hot sauces. That place ruled. To this day, the Agent Orange sauce was the best, most flavorful, and I might add, hottest sauce I've ever had. It was one of those magical sauces that you can't stop eating, even though it's killing you. I miss that place. |
