I've got a bit of a sore throat right now, and I figured I'd share my personal remedy with the boiled peanut gallery...
8 oz. of Traditional Medicinal's Throat Coat tea
1 oz. of Sambuca
Boil water in mug, then add Sambuca and teabag. Stir. Drink.
If you don't care for black licorice, this isn't for you. If you're on the right side of the black licorice fence, it can also be a tasty drink for a cold winter night regardless of the condition of your throat. |

| ooo I love's me some Sambuca.....mmmmmm.......it's also funny to watch waiters serve it that don't know how and then end up (a) burning their hand on the glass when lighting it (b) break the glass due to heat and wrong size glass...instant expansion (c) look at you funny and say "a coffee bean in what?....lemme go check" Sounds like a good cure-all there, Monkey. back in high school, I used to tell my then girlfriend that semen, because of the high protien content, was a quick cure for a sore throat - she bought it, yet only for a short while as she mentioned it to a sick friend who then told me how sick and twisted I was (like I didn't know already)... 
while I'm sure TGM won't be trying the above, try heated Yukon Jack w/ a spoon or two of honey --- worked in Atlanta the winter of '84-'85... |

Put that Yukon Jack garbage back in the basement and lock the fuckin' door. Ugh! How dare you suggest that vile concoction to a friend. Shame on you!
Go to the doctor's office, tell him that you can't sleep because your throat is sore & you keep coughing. He will kick down some Atuss HC, or Pneumotussin. You're welcome. |

ooooo I have heard things about that one......how "good" is it? Better than a Robotussin buzz? I love Robotussin nighttime gel caps when feeling ill.....sleep like a baby and have the most amazing and fucked up dreams! Though I do get that cloudy, off-balance effect the next day. |

Pneumotussin is loaded with Hyrdrocodone. Robotussin is loaded with high school.
Personally, I prefer Pneumotussin because it allows me to spend 4 or so hours listening to Slint & drooling all over myself.  |

@Zodiac
yeh....but keep in mind, I do not "partake" and eat/live fairly healthy so anything ANYTHING that can change body chemistry affects me strongly...and I only take medicine WHEN sick.
