Some generous banks and rails in the other end as well..I'll post pics when its up and running..Maybe in mid-september......Road trip in the works for some of my American Brotheren????? |

I already posted some design pics of this park. Sadly I think it will not be epic. I drove up to take a look last weekend. I crawled under the fence to get a good look and found that this park is being built by assholes. I'd post pics but, whilst I remembered to take my digital camera I forgot to put the compact flash card in it. Duh!
The compression bump is right in front of the vert extension so you have to approach it from one side or the other. You'll have to dodge this obstacle when you're coming off the vert at full speed. Also the vert extension appears to be wood. The coping is uneven as are the trannies in the bowl.
A bro who's in construction has also taken a look and said that the rebar is not tied together properly meaning that with Toronto's extremes of temperature the concrete will crack and crumble very quickly.
This park already has Toronto skaters shaking their heads in disbelief even though it's not due to be finished until October. Another case of local government giving contracts out to the lowest bidder. And compounding this by not having skaters involved in the construction. Hundreds of thousands of dollars down the toilet. |

Is the park open yet? My companies headquarters is in Markham and I get up there at least once a month. I usually hit Missisaugua, Comer or VanderhoofBut they are all so hard to get to late in the afternoon.
I will be up there Wednesday the 13 and want to check it out. |
