I call my board a "Lowboard". It started out as a Stik (www.stik.com) but the only thing left of the origignal LI Stik is the trucks.
The set up is:
Mongoose Mountainboard bindings
Mongoose Mountainboard R6 bearings
Stik trucks
MBS Mountainboards yellow spring inserts (egg shocks)
Kryptronic wheels
Custom deck - one ply thicker and 1.5" shorter than the Lil Stik deck, 8" wide |

| I could ride that in a bowl if I had some 98a No Skoolz on there. I don't know how you get enough speed with those soft Kryptos to air out! |

Kryptonic Classics - 70mm 82a
It seems like wheel size has more to do with speed on my board than wheel hardness. I was riding smaller, harder wheels. They were not only slower but had a tendancy to slide out on hard carves and jump landings.
I would like to try a harder, larger wheel but nobody makes a 85mm, 90a wheel. I think that combination would be ideal. I'm going to try some Krypto 85mm, 80a wheels if I can Santa to bring them to me.
I can get a lot of speed in my flow bowl to air out. However once I lose speed it is difficult to get it back.
A future modifications to my board will be to have some new axles milled so I can use the standard 608 bearing (5/16" dia axle) rather than the R6 bearing (3/8" axle). The larger ball bearing of the 608 has got to provide more speed. |

| yeah the Gravity wheels work pretty good for bowl riding. the 73mm Super G mold is also used of the (Cliff) Sliders downhill wheel @ 94a, grat for parks. if not use 3DM Avalons in 94a or 90a, they are 68mm tall x 55mm wide. Avilas are 75mm tall x 65 mm wide and have 88a in the hardest duro. |
