"A lethal dose of american hatred" has not left my CD player for the past week. Do you dig really loose, drunk & stoned, punk-metal jams with lyrics about war, drugs, death and satan?? Fuck yeah!! nice and sludgy, get this shit today!! |

We saw them a couple weeks ago when they headlined the ZEKE show I went to. SJR was a bit much for my tastes. A little too many rebel flags, skinheads, and heil salutes going on for me. He's too tough for my tastes.

The rebel flag is awesome, but Anselmo is a joke. I'm bummed that Hank 3 is playing with them now.

Yeah, you're right. I didn't mean to piss off anyone by that comment about the rebel flag. But some stupid people use it for the wrong reasons and degrade the real meaning of it... And there were plenty of them at that show.

Agreed. The adaptation of the battle flag by morons just pisses me off. I guarantee they have no real knowledge of the meaning or reasons behind it. |

I totally dig the music, but, they almost seem to "invite" that meathead mentality. Lotsa folks lookin' to fuck shit up.
Also, in my opinion, there's only 2 bands that are allowed to rock the Confederate Flag. those bands are Lynyrd Skynyrd (duh) and Alabama Thunderpussy. Beaten Back To Pure gets an honorable mention. |
