I want to put together a nice longboard set-up for just cruising hills & streets, no ramp or pool riding. I'm looking at the BDS longboard deck & have a set of the soft-pour Shogo wheels at the ready. Now what to do about trucks?
I ride mostly ramps & use Tracker 6's tightened way up. I'm looking for a looser, flow-ier ride for the longboard, without it feeling squirrely.
The Seismics look cool, as do Randalls... anyone who rides longboard trucks, please chime in!
Also, what width would work best with a BDS & Shogo wheels? Gracias! |

I've heard good things about the seismics, however I've been using the Randall II's and love them. They give me all of the turn i need with none of the wobbles.

Seismics. Randals aren't bad, but by the time you add better bushings and kingpins, you're close to Seismics.

Thanks for the replies, fellas... what widths work well with bigger wheels (i.e. BDS Shogos), figuring that a BDS longboard is about 10" wide? |

150mm.
You might want to look at the Originals, too. |

155 seismics with the shogos on the bds lb is the best combo i have seen. im not a huge fan of randalls for some reason, but the seismics really do it for me |

Howdy,
The Seismic 155's with the Shogo wheels
should give you the perfect width for the BDS
Longboard. That set-up is a fantastic surf-skate
ride!! Very, very smooth and very responsive.
