Does anyone know who makes black label's decks, or do they make them in house? I'd love to know if you can get blanks from them anywhere...especially that new "powerbeam II" construction...they're tough as nails.

Thanks Jahtooth.
@ Livi-skater, I found out the "econoline" decks (and Element, also PS Stix) are made in China, but the Label "pro models" are made here in the factory in socal.

Element also goes through Watson laminates last I herd. Alot of companies go through many manufacturers. Watson has high ass minimums but if you have the money and the customers its good because they have so many shapes.

Just some input, later.

I thought I heard that PS Stix moved production to Mexico, along with Zero/Mystery.

Not sure if it's true though...

I snapped my old deck this weekend, so I had to go buy a new one...I picked up the Hosoi mid (Red Kross by the Label), and low and behold, just like Paul Scmidt had suggested as an answer to the Chinese wood issue, there on the top of the deck was an engraved "made in USA" with a serial #...so, I guess this answers any questions...
