I'm going to call the woodshop(s) next week and get the ball rolling on this. I'm not asking for carved-in-stone committments, but would like to get an idea of how many folks would be interested in this deck. Here's the details thus far:

  • 8-ply construction
  • Mild concave, nose and tail kicks
  • 19" wheelbase (measured inner truck holes to inner truck holes)
  • 9.8-10" width
  • 7.75" long tail with semi-flare/fish shape
  • Overall length is still TBD, but expect it to be 37-38" or so
  • Graphics by Tim Shawl

The price hasn't been determined yet (and will vary with how many get produced), but it will be priced as a "rider" and not a "wall hanger."

E-mail or PM me if you're interested. Since we're probably looking at a relatively small production run, I may enourage folks to put up deposits to guarantee they get a deck.

Here's an update on this...

* Various woodshops have been contacted, and we're awaiting responses.
* Graphics are 99% done, and those who have seen 'em are stoked.
* In order to help finance this, we may do pre-orders on a certain number of decks (folks who pre-order may get a "numbered" deck, but this deck is a "rider" first and foremost).

Mark,

I like that...that should be your company logo...

Have you consider printing up some stickers and t-shirts with just the fists logo with mh skates.com?

You read our mind. We're working on getting stickers and shirts made. Now that we have the kick-ass graphic files in-hand, all it takes is some cashola...

FWIW, the t-shirts will be white, as it saves us from having an additional color printed. Stickers will be white vinyl with the black/flesh printing. Coming soon...

Mark,

Put me down for one t-shirt and about 10 stickers. Any idea when these will be made available?
