Skated the clover and the 'bathtub" bowl tonight....a little chilly, with a weird fog that slicked up the transitions. This guy shows up, high on mushrooms (or was that the crazy kids doing blunt tranfers on the 10 foot spine)...any way, he hops into the bowl and starts doing these Bert Railslide things which he reverts out of...and he's saying that when he does 'em in the deep end, it's weird, cause he's like doing a hand stand on the transition!?!?!?! Crazy...sick trick too...where do these guys come from?

Slob,
You guys are hitting the Vancouver Bowl Bash...is that on Canada Day??? Izzo and I were thinking of hitting that too...we spent last Canada day at the park in Okotoks(first pic in this thread and the one below are from that day)...I'm thinking the bowl bash would be a vast improvement over that!

hahahahaha I know the dude you speak of!

Pissed about the weather -guess we'll be hitting Source this weekend instead of the 'crete.

Not sure when the bash is -I thought it was July 4th but it may be on Canada Day.

Okotoks park is retarded! SO smooth on the decks but wanky everywhere else -fun as hell to skate at night with no lights though!

Check out Frontside Skateshop next time you're there -it's my bros Josh and Dylan's store and they have a brutally tight mini in the shop with a 7ft wall-ride!

No, not yet, but not surprised... anything from the lately has taken 3x times longer than usual. Actually had a package of magazines returned to the publisher due to security reasons.... latest package was 3 weeks late and all torn to shit... wha?!! What the heck is going on down there?

Yeah...I can have fun at any park...Okotoks isn't that bad for a small town park...better(by far) than some o the stuff in inland BC!

Yeah...Frontside rules. That ramp IS very tight...took me a while to get used to it, and watching Brent ride it on his longborad was nuts! The wall ride scared the shit outa me, cause you barely have room to turn without nailing the wall..Josh is a madman on that ramp though!!!

Indeed! Both Brent and Josh should be locked up! LOL! The wall-ride is gnarly for sure.
