23 front 15 back at forward angles with the narrowest stance on the board.
Where do you ride? I hear they have these plastic mini-mountains called "dryslopes" over there. Sounds awful! |

I do about 3 weeks away - usually canada for 2 and erope for 1 (full of french....) other than that we have the dreaded dryslope - and experience you will not want to try.......
Last week it did snow enough here to go hill hiking though which was funny but ultimately exhausting........ |

whoa... mines the same as yours uk, 15 and 6, except I'm not goofy. maybe slightly retarded but not goofy.
I had my back foot at 0 for the longest time, then when I realized I needed to learn how to ride switch I had to open up the back foot a bit. And it made a big difference the first day.

i ride goofy and a 0 back and im trying to think how i set the front this year. i changed stance a bit, never thought to change the back a little for switch riding. interesting yet, well...i guess im just to stupid to realize these little things sometimes. i rarely ride switch anyways. so whatever. YEAH!

@mac - spooky!
@Gus - it def helps with the switch stuff. I dont ride switch too much but sometimes land switch on a 180 jump so you need to be able to ride it out nicely. even 6 degrees makes a ton of difference - or at least it did to me. |

Duck stance is usually the culprit in fucked up knees in snowboarding. Your back knee is pointing the opposite way of downhill, it makes it easier to twist. Back in the '93-'94 new school days I tried it, but didn't like the feeling while riding regular. I usually ride (rode) 20" stance with 18-21 front and 3-6 back. I never had problems carving or riding switch with my stance like that.
