My wife has a new longboard that she wants to set up with stickers on the top and covered with clear grip tape. Who makes the best and where can I get it?
The deck is 9.25" wide and 38" long. |

I hate to be the voice of negativity, but talk her out of it. That stuff's grip doesn't last very long, it leaves an ugly residue when you peel it up, and it bubbles like crazy when you lay it down.
Black is good. Black is classic. Black is beautiful... |

We've been looking for a good clear griptape for six months. We've yet to find it. It gets dirty FAST (making it hard to see whatever is underneath), it doesn't grip as well, and for some reason, the adhesives aren't nearly as good as black grip.
If you want something other than black, then get some GOOD (read: Wooster) colored tape in blue, red, etc... |

if you use a ball to apply clear properly you will get no bubbles, stickers will show fine etc.
but it does yello and grip can be questionable i guess.
anyways, a tennis ball or some sort of harder rubber ball used like a squeegy for tint and youll get it on clean as hell...

I had a deck that was green stained so i put clear on it to show it off...was like a really high number grit of sandpaper...didnt grip as ggod as black and does look like hell real quick....and they never really are "clear"..."cloudy' or "murky" would be a better description. |

Check with Jeff at Boziboards.com
He's got some clear grip that's pretty good. Seth (lets go skate pool ) posted a pic of his ditch biotch somewhere here.
