I'm glad you asked! My name is David, a 32 year old skateboarder from San Diego. I started when I was 8 years old at the Major Taylor skatepark in Indianapolis. I skated for Punk Rock Skateboards until I had some injuries in my mid teens and took a break, skating on and off afterwards. About 2 years ago I discovered the CATF Olympic training facility near my house and began skating regularly, nearly every day, In an attempt to learn new tricks and improve my skills. A few months ago I won a private lesson with Mitchie Brusco and it was an eye opening first skateboarding lesson. Now I have the chance to skate with Tony Hawk and learn from the legend himself. All I ask is that you cast a vote for me and make my skateboarding dream come true. Currently I'm in second place, and with 5 days left to make it into the finals, I need all the help I can get. I have a deep passion for skateboarding and its a huge part of my life.
