I received an email last night from my old friend Michael Brooke (who, if you don't know, was the founder and publisher of Concrete Wave Magazine, and my boss at said magazine for... ten years?).
Here's what it said:
"Hello all,
It’s been over 4 years since I decided to change direction and move from skateboarding to something quite a bit different…
Happy to announce that I have teamed up to create mini-skate documentaries with Shred Shack. I am calling it Concrete Waves.

I am very much looking forward to seeing where this goes and I am happy to share this news with you all.
The first mini doc will hit in October.

It looks like the first mini-doc is going to be about the history of surf-skating (which, in many ways, is the history of skateboarding itself). Should be interesting... |

| Hmmm that Shred Shack channel is uh interesting. We shall see what these mini Docs are like I guess. |

If one gets lost, and then returns to the place from which they came... isn't that more or less the definition of "back" sir? (Laughing!) |
