nice.

here's my 2c : watch your body on that 360 rock'n roll. Your body turns with a little delay and hasn't fulfilled the rotation when your deck is already shooting down the transition.
It should be the other way round : your body should've nearly finished the rotation when the deck is still in rock'n roll position, it should lead the board and not vice versa.

Thanks, that makes sense...I'm a slow learner when it comes to moving my upper body. I have to remind myself all the time not to just turn the board with my feet.

I think skating alone all the time makes it harder to learn. I'm doing what I think is right and later find out it isn't and have to break a bad habit.

Your doing good for learning at 48 and alone homie, I was skating from 4-12, and now again since my kid started at 12 this year.

Your totally correct with skating alone, some of the local kids im sure will rib you a bit, but 90% of skaters will be more then willing to help you learn and hang out. also remember, you find some teens who like to skate, they might just bug the shit out of you for rides to the skate park....good way to learn.

Yup, skating alone is harder, but I did that for most of my skateboarding "career". It also means no waiting for your run on a packed mini...

Watching movies and clips helps, it can be an inspiration to try tricks you didn't even think about. Re-watch them in slo-mo and analyze the body posture...

Props for your balls, though. I'm 49 and I did stuff like 360 rocks on vert until a couple of years ago. After the last 2 trips to the hospital, I wouldn't dare to try one on a miniramp now...

Tuesday was slam day...nothing felt right.

Yesterday I was pretty solid on landing everything with company on the ramp. The energy is just better with more people skating, but I hit the mini on my way home from work and it's usually a ghost town. People start showing up right when I'm leaving.
