Been working on rolling into bowls instead of drop ins. Trying to go faster and bigger…was doing pretty good for a minute.

Snapped the end of the bone right off. Needs surgery. Had on knee pads, a back brace, and wrist guards. No elbow pads. Hung up the back truck. That’s two breaks in the last few months. Been going at it pretty hard lately.

Oh man I feel for you. That was me 2 years ago with my left elbow. Surgery is necessary. You'll be out this winter season but back to speed by next Spring.

Get yourself a pair of Boneless elbow pads and never skate again without them.

ask for a bone density scan.
2 bone brakes in recent time could indicate an Osteoporosis condition.
(although it could just be going hard breaks bones)

Wish I didnt find out after breaking my back!

Always wear kneepads, elbow pads and a helmet.

I learned about elbow pads a few years back when I popped out of the bowl aiming to sit on the edge and the momentum was just enough to tip me over onto my elbow. You wouldn't think that would cause injury but I got a full on swellbow from it. And learn your lesson because when you hurt your elbow, you will continue to hurt your elbow. Learned that the hard painful way. I always wear my pads now.

Glad they got you in so quick. Good luck tomorrow. Hope you have someone to chaperone you home tomorrow. The hospital whisked me out so fast I'd've never been able to do it without help. I had tickets to a concert that night and when I told a nurse about it she laughed and insisted I'd never be in any condition to go...and boy was she right. Next pic from you there'll be a bracket and pins in there. Take care man.
