…is being able to afford stupid shit.
I wanted an OG Staab to ride and have been impatiently waiting for a solid well used deck to come up for sale. Won this today. Been skated hard but still has enough life in it for me to mob around. I’ll post a pic after I get it all set up.
Stoked.

This morning I went to help a friend work on his boat, but I had to check out the skate park on the way. Had it all to myself. Would be great for someone who carves better than I do…still had fun trying!
Some online list said it was one of the best around…
When I got home and checked the mail I had some new goodies, and was able to set up my new to me Staab to be my park board. I had to do a little patch work to the corner of the tail, but I think it’s solid enough. Feels good. I’ll go skate it hard-ish tonight or in the morning. I figure it’s a lot like me…past its prime but still has some shred left in it.
Whoever drilled those rails was cockeyed. I’ll probably add a jaw bone because I like them and change the wheels. |
