Hi, i am currently renovating my Sims deck owned since 1975 from new. There are a few items which are shot but not sure if best the retain the originality or find NOS parts. The board is as follows:
Sims Superply model - retain
85 trucker tracks and clear red risers - retain
Red and black Powerflex 5 wheels - retain
White Power Pivot - retain
The bushings have split so trying to find NOS but not sure what i need, i assume top and bottoms are sold separately. Original were black and not easy to find!
I have found some Original Tracker Truck Fixings but need nuts for truck and axels.
Should i keep the original decal or have it redone? Any suggestions on the whole board or help/ recommendations with the above would be appreciated.
Thanks

Alot or I dare say most collectors could only dream of owning old personal riders and most of them would not mess with them if they did. Without seeing the board in question or knowing your intentions or skill level only you can decide what to fix or change. It will most likely not go up in value for others, only you can decide if it will for you. As for OG Tracker parts look at ebay as alot of old tracker inventory is currently being listed for next to nothing by the Balma family and old distributors. |
