this morning result is not bad for a first try

Wow.....making your own pool coping.
✊looks fantastic.

Did you have to add any kind of binding agent or polymer to the cement to make it less brittle?.......just curious as a couple of council made bowls have coping so fucked up, it’s like a chocolate chip cookie......all crumbled with chunks missing.

Fantastic work.....πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

i sprayed the mold with salba sauce
so it removed nicely
still some left on the mold though
we gonna make another try soon with oil maybe
they are swiming in water bath for some days
we found out it makes the crete stronger
still experimenting

πŸ€“....not talking about release mould application.
Talking about additives to your initial concrete mix.....make it hard and plastic shiny.

Fantastic stuff you are doing.

πŸ€“βœŒπŸ»...simple pva wood glue is equivalent to β€˜Bondcrete’ as is known in Aus.....wood glue mixed in with your concrete makes a shiny happy solid coping.

My 2 cents.....
I love your passion ....I love your work....πŸ€“βœŒπŸ»
