He is, but Slash has got a buddy of mine playing bass for him full time.

That said, seeing that guitar... I may have to change my pants.

I picked up this '08 Melody Maker a month ago. I'd been hunting for a decent deal on a Junior for a while but this certainly scratches that itch. That single coil is hot as hell.

Love the 175!

Thanks dude. It's actually a 135, which is about 1/2 or 1/4 the price.

Cool Melody Maker! I've been in the same boat, wanting the Junior equivalent but tempted by the Melody Makers. The headstock just feels weird though.

Wow. Both the cab and the guitar are are rad.

I'm sure the amp is killer too, but I've never played that model.

And although I'm not a Fender fan I am looking for an old black face Bassman.

Just did a rebuild on my effects board...

My current rig set-up

Main guitar is a heavily customized and modded Larrivee V with a single bridge pickup.

Number 2 is a Hamer Flying V

Nice setup! I want that Laney! So good!

Yeah man, Todd Kerns. He and the rest of Age Of Electric did a reunion tour a couple years ago when Slash was back in Guns. It was fucking awesome!

Probably going to sell my Traynor Custom Special and cab as well.

It's an amazing tube amp, with 2 channels that can accurately mimic from JTM45 to JCM800 and other Marshalls, most Fender models, and everything else inbetween including Vox and Mesa Boogie. And can come real close to many of the Friedman sounds. Has a switch to go between British and US that is amazing. Real nice reverb and a killer effects loop. Easy pedal switching between channels with the added boost switch,

I'd like to keep it, just as I'd like to keep the Laney, but the latest mod we did to my Traynor YBA-1 (not a YBA-1a) is just fucking amazing and the sound I've been trying find for quite some time—Marshall, Fender, Bogner, Friedman, Metropolis.... none of them have it.

The cabinet looks like shit in this image but not when you stand in front of it and look at it. Weird.
