Hi guys,
this is my 1st post, so "hi everyone" and greetings form Germany.
I have rediscovered my old skateboard at my parent's house after 25 years not using it.
My aunt ordered it from the USA via mailorder back in 1981 after seeing it in a store on her trip to Canada and rode it before gifting it to me around 1990. This could be leftover stock from 1980, or 1981. It has 6 plys and rounded wheel wells.
Yes, it is drilled - but the Dragon is in good condition and as far as I have learned until now (noob here), it is very much saught after. There are 4-5 marks on the board that I did touch up lightly at some point in time. The Edwards Park Pilot (tail bone), that was used a longer time, covers up the other holes at the tail quite nicely
The other slimmer Tailbone might be PP too. The nose guard fits and looks authentic to my untrained eye.
I know, it is not NOS and it has it's blemishes, but overall, looking at it for the last week it is a damn good looking used complete anyway. After doing some digging the last days, my impression is, that it is in a very interesting condition for a used board from this time.

I would very much appreciate your help in finding a price for it.
Thank you in advance! |

The hangers on the Tracker baseplates look like Indy hangers. |

Grip looks good. Man, they really couldn’t get the drilling right.

nice find, definetely a very rare and highly coveted board if it's OG.
I was also thinking of the reissue that PP did a while ago - it was in this very same colorway, wasn't it?? then again, the old-school truck patterns and the lack of "re-issue" print that PP did on these decks should make this a legit original cab bearing deck.
definetely super tough to put a price tag on this.
I'm wondering, did the deck already sell, is it going up on ebay or what?? |
