maybe not very interesting, but
i was helping an old lady move out of her house and garage into a smaller place, for over a week, and the deal was i could have my pick of whatever she left behind before taking the rest to charity shops and then the dump. this Blind and two other decks were tucked away at the back of the garage with some vinage toys. so , I got a Jason Lee skateboard from Karma ! she was fine about me keeping them , and i didnt think to ask whether it was her who had put the trucks on upside down 25 years earlier, and now it's too late she died in 2015. i must still have them somewhere ...

Waiting to see who’s wins this is like watching a cliffhanger movie. It’s almost like a reality show.

Received this email today....

Looks like someone is willin to offer 4-5k for a griped deck with truck indents. On the bottom side. Sid, my man, take that 4K and run!!!!

I’m sending this exact email to everyone who contacted me directly about the Jason Lee Blind deck
It’s late. When my wife and i decided i had to sell the decks it seemed simple… get on a blog, get a price for the three boards, see if that covered what we needed, and let them go
The response has been incredible. Awesome, passionate collectors have been in touch to congratulate me, suggest cleaning and repair tips, tell me how to pack the deck, to keep it and how to display it… I’ve been shown some truly amazing photos of collections which have blown me away, and all from really great guys who don’t want to walk on each others’ toes ! i’m touched, overawed !
It’s been a week. I can tell you all that i’ve had several offers of between four and five thousand dollars for the Blind ( the other two decks have been barely mentioned )
So, i don’t know how to choose a seller without leaving a hole in somebody else’s collection. I don’t want to let you guys down.
i’m gonna take some advice on the fairest way to settle this deal, and then I shall contact you all again to let you know .. whether its a raffle, an auction, a coin toss or pin the tail on the donkey !
Hope that doesn’t seem unjust
All the best
Sid
