Hey guys,

I want to start photo documenting DIY skate spots and was looking for some suggestions on where to hit. We all know these spots sometimes come and go quickly, so the intent of the project would be to have a physical record (whether it be a book or zine or photo show) of all the time and ingenuity that people are willing to spend creating these parks.

This project has National ambitions, so literally anything that comes to mind would be appreciated!

Thanks!
Paul

Yeah I’ve seen a few interesting topics in this section! Unfortunately, most of them are years old with dead photo links and little to no information. I am hoping this might generate some new interest.

Local DIY spots from yrs past
A few of these are partially still around
The 1st pic is Gasden,AL still there
The rest are in Birmingham and mostly torn down exept the brick wallride spot which is hidden behind a bread factory.
