Last year, though I didn't get a list who was matched up with each other years before, the same people had been matched together based on geographical proximity to each other, and several told me that it was funny because every year they get the same person when they had hoped they would not.
Making it random will hopefully eliminate that and people can be truly surprised on who they get as an SS.
The other advantage is the opportunity members will get to know others outside of their immediate SNB circle.  |
