Man...It really sucks what has happened to skull and bones in the past few years. It's like a ghost town around here. Skip redoing the first ever natas and no one hardly even comments on it. Everyone must be over at facebook ....where I will never tread. Hope this place stays around a bit longer because it was the best place ever to meet people involved in skateboarding and collecting etc......Long Live Skull and Bones.....................................................................................

That's freaking sexy.

Got mine this week. They're not really done well. Wood is thin and junky. I was expecting something close to an original, but this is a toy store looking knockoff. I don't mind as much if the Skips of the world are profiting from it, but Watson's re-issue game is very weak.

Wow, surprised to hear that.
I assumed they would be very close to the original.
Was even doubting to pick one up, but after hearing this, i’m kinda glad I didn’t.
Btw SnB forever.

The wood is far from thin and junky. These decks are thick and heavy as they are made from 1/16" thick plys. Pretty sick replicas IMO better than the SC Chinese reissues. More character for sure.

Weird, I have one that is not thick or heavy. There's strange waves in the top veneer as well. I have an og SMA deck and this deck isn't close.

These decks have been reissued many years ago but were limited to just a few. I actually never seen anyone else have these decks. I just sold the orange one. I still have the yellow one. Mixed feelings about reissues but I got these decks ten years ago.

So who is right, need a 3rd opinion. Are these thin and junky, or thick and funky?

I'm not saying I'm right but with the one I got the plys look as thick as advertised at 1/16" thick... as a result its considerably heavier than modern decks. the dipped paint job isn't perfect but the screen print is.

little to no concave makes it look crude in comparison to modern boards. remember boards weren't as refined back then and correct me if i'm wrong but thats what watson were going for by using the original molds...
