Anyone know what pivot cups work as replacements for Rannalli trucks?
I replaced the bushings with some Khiros last summer but didn't bother replacing the pivot cups. Now the pivot cup in one truck has crumbled completely and the other was well on its way to catastrophic failure. The OG cups are smaller than my Indy stage 11's, OG Gullwing Super Pro III's, 9" Gullwing Pro's and Tacker Gnarly pivots.
The outside diameter of the pivot cup measures 9/16" or about 14mm. Here is a pic of whats left of the pivot cup that I pulled out.
Any help with replacement pivot cups would be much appreciated. Thanks. |

Nobody knows bump? Anyone know of round bottom replacement pivot cups in general? My searches have come up empty. There has got to be something out there that will work. |

Hey Gheepup
Don't know where you could find em' If you send me the old one and some material that is close in durometer, I can machine them in my shop. Might be able to make one out of a soft wheel... Never tried it.
Only thing I can think of. I always wondered if those trucks were any good??? |

Don't know, but the way I've always found replacement cups is to buy several different types from other trucks that look about the same size until one fits.
Pivot cups are cheap. |

I was "sponsored" by Rannalli through a shop team around '89-'90. They turned ok and weren't too heavy but every single pair I had ended up with bent axle/hangers. At least two hangers cracked as well. If I remember correctly the aluminum was really cheap. |

used to always see the ad... Never saw one person riding them. Always figured they were the "B" level of a larger brand. A lot of that obscure shit that held no interest for me back then is intriguing now. I rode some Motobilts... Shitty all the way through but you couldn't break em' Good luck on the cups! |
