A some of you know and some don't, I recently came across one of my childhood decks by accident:

Lemme Tell ya bout it:

This is the deck:

only pic i could find -it's at my right hand -

So I bought this brand new in Cali '91.
In 2001 i started selling all sorts of things for a business venture.
I sold a big collection of records and some vintage audio equipment first and was just starting on selling decks when we decided the Business was'nt going to work out.
This one, a Bryce Kanights, a Ron Allen and one other i'm spacing on, left the small bunch of my riders i've been able to hold on to.
I quit ebay shortly after and was never able to get back into that account for changing emails..and was forgotten..sorta...

Fast Forward to this year...

I was thinking about ideas for shirt designs for a neighborhood association, and thought of the streetsign and using a bit of it for their design -- Which they liked and may do in the future --Sorry Damon!!

I typed danny way one d way into goog images and the 4th image is the bottom of this deck! -- I said...some &%$%^& and that's my deck i think! The page was a photo from a collection on AoS!! so i emailed and asked about the orange griptape.
Turns out it's the same guy who bought it from me! - And he's a member here CPIO . He then offers to sell it back to me without me really asking to buy it. I said put me on the list if you ever do.

Then I tell the girlfriend:

That's kinda neat honey, but you have so many of them and you owe me money as you're living by the skin of your teeth with your screenprinting operation.
By speaking no words -just rolling her eyes thing - ( i'm sure most of you know all about this!)

My solution: Sell a Mcgill complete i picked up awhile back. Sold that and paid for Danny, Sent slob his cut, taking myself out for a lunch.

And we're to the Present.

I'd really like to thank CPIO , for taking good care of him and being super cool in general. Also like to thank Biggy for Purchasing the McGrill and also being super cool in general.

Plus Thanks to Slob for Putting up with us!!
and Thanks to all you for doin what you do!!
Ryan

OMG!!!

~This was my very 1st deck I ever bought...
*It was stolen shortly after and I got Grosso WOnderland shortly after
but for the longest time I couldn't remember "which" DannyWay I had..
All I could remember was is said "One Way" as a pun off his name but this deck is-NOT common/popular so I never saw pictures of it..

*Man WTF! H-street was hands-DOWN the coolest company ever..
So yeah I was smiling like a mofo when Karma kicked in when the ghetto skaters all bailed on Mike T/plan B.....

*My #1 wishlist is Justin Lynch ALva(Bigbird)

cool SannyWay deck Bro

Not to double post but I posted B4 I read original post by Goldfish....

WHAT A STORY MAN....YOU ARE LUCKY AF & U KNOW IT!!!!

~We all have decks out there from our 1st time retiring..
FO me it's my~
~Alva Justin Lynch
~Histreet Hensley King Size
~Blind Gonz(the very 1st blind deck)
*ps~ That summer my whole town of skater homies all
laughed at my Gonz/blind deck cause it had a kick nose..
4 months later it was common...I own that memory!!!

so those 3 decks vanished when I turned 17 and life post skating kicked in..My mom plays stup[id w/ the question when asked..
*That 1st skate retirement kills me cause I was in my prime and never recaptured that skill-level..esp not now @43....
whatevs....

~Goldfish,,,i wanna hear more bout you're skate days,, PM me dude
