I know its a personal preference thing of course, but does 3/4" sticking out on 18" of vert sound about right to you guys? It looks right when I set up the template today. I plan to set the coping tomorrow afternoon but wanted to here what you guys thought...

Thanks!

also depends on the height of your ramp and the diameter of your coping.

i use 2" coping, and have it sticking out about 1/2".

Thanks - it seems like 1/2" is the answer. The ramp has 10' transitions with 18" of vert. The coping is schedule 80 with an OD of 2.375...

I can reset it to 1/2" right now without to much trouble. Thanks again for the reply.

Yeah, I know people are getting into that gnarlier coping pool like deal but 1/2 is good.
