I plan to install 2" schedule 80 steel pipe for the vert ramp I'm building. It has an outside diameter of 2.375 inches.
Is this the correct size coping that is being used on vert ramps?
Thanks in advance for your help! |

i used 2.5inch.
but remember, it also depends on how much you recess it into the surface of your ramp and platform.
i used a couple of poles from a tennis court that was demolished near my house. if they are solid enough to withstand bending in wind, etc whilst supporting a cyclone fence, so they'd have to be good for coping.
as it turned out, they survived for about 16 years worth of grindage without a problem. |
